The Christian Naturopath

Hi, I’m Esther.
I’m a Clinical Naturopath and the founder of Olea Health in Springwood — where faith and holistic health meet. My heart is to help people find healing and wholeness in every part of life: body, mind, and spirit.
I work with people of all ages and backgrounds, both in-person and via tele-health across Australia. Many come to me with a wide range of health concerns, from fatigue, stress, and hormonal imbalance to gut issues, sleep troubles, and emotional burnout. Not matter what it is my goal is always the same: to uncover the root cause and support lasting wellbeing through natural, evidence-based care.
Alongside my husband, Mathew, who serves as a Pastor at Wynnum Baptist Church, I’m also involved in ministry. I love to lead worship, mentor people, and encourage others in their walk with God.
Before becoming a naturopath, I spent years as a school chaplain with SU Australia, walking alongside young people through some of their toughest seasons. I also studied community services and ministry, which now shape how I approach care in seeing each person as a whole and deeply loved by God.
I’m passionate about helping people discover the connection between their physical, emotional, and spiritual health, and to experience the freedom and peace that flow from living in balance.
If that’s something you’re longing for, I’d love to journey with you.

Holistic Christianity: Heart, Soul, Mind & Strength
As Christians, we often prioritise our spiritual life but forget that God calls us to prioritise our physical life as well. Jesus shows us that we are to love Him with our whole being. With all our heart, soul, mind, and strength (Mark 12:30). This means physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. Our worship is holistic.
But many of us feel stretched thin. Long days, little rest, poor sleep, sickness, or anxiety leave us tired and disconnected, not just from others, but from God. We want to serve, to help, to make a difference… but we’re running on empty.
The truth is, our bodies, minds, and spirits are deeply connected. When one part suffers, the rest feels it too. God designed us this way. Not as separate compartments, but as whole beings meant to flourish in Him.
1 Corinthians 6:19-20 paraphrased says “your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, so glorify God in your body”. We have a responsibility to look after our body (physical, emotional, spiritual & mental), in order to give glory to God & show the world the life, peace, joy & freedom that is found in Him.
Our lives are meant to reflect God’s goodness to the world. As we care for our bodies through healthy rhythms and nourishing choices, and spend time in His Word and presence, His truth restores our peace and hope. It’s from that place of overflow that we’re best able to love and serve others.
What if caring for your health became part of your worship?
What if feeling well wasn’t just about energy, but about being fully present to what God’s called you to?
If that resonates with you, I’d love to help you take practical steps toward that kind of wholeness.
