This nut-free recipe is delicious, nutritious, and perfect for kids' lunchboxes. Feel free to adjust the ingredients to suit your child's (or your) taste preferences and dietary needs.
Greek yoghurt- unsweetened (use coconut yoghurt for a DF alternative)
Granola (ensure it's nut-free if your school is a nut-free school)
Fresh berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
In small reusable containers or jars, layer Greek yoghurt with nut-free granola and fresh berries.
Drizzle honey over the top for added sweetness.
Repeat the layers until the container is filled, finishing with a dollop of Greek yoghurt and a few berries on top.
Seal the containers and keep them refrigerated until it's time to pack the lunchbox.
*Hot Tip: these generally store quite well for a few days in an air-tight jar, so make up a few at once to save you time. Your kids (and you!) will LOVE these!
