Chamomile Tea for Restless Kids

Start with a very weak brew (just ½ tsp of dried chamomile steeped briefly or a tea bag dunked a few times) and serve it lukewarm, not hot.

You can make it more appealing by:

  • Adding a little raw honey (for children over 1 year)

  • Adding some milk of choice

  • Calling it a “sleepy tea” or part of their bedtime routine

  • Serving it in a special cup to make it feel calming and familiar

Start with a little bit to try it for the first time, and if it’s tolerated well try offering it 30 - 60 minutes before bed as part of a consistent wind-down routine.
