The Gut-Brain Connection: More Than a Gut Feeling
Ever noticed butterflies in your stomach or loose bowels when you’re feeling nervous? Perhaps you’ve experienced constipation or skin concerns like acne during stressful periods. These are examples of the gut–brain axis in action — a constant, two-way conversation between your gut and nervous system.

Research has also identified links between imbalances in gut microbes and symptoms of anxiety, depression and inflammatory skin conditions through the gut–brain–skin axis.
Our bodies are constantly giving us subtle hints about how we’re feeling, both mentally and physically. Sometimes, it’s simply a matter of slowing down and paying attention.
